Why English?

Perhaps you are wondering why we write this blog in English? Well, I could answer "Why not?", but I'll tell you a little story that might perhaps explain it:

"Once upon a time there was a young girl (Maria) that spent most of her time working. Her boss decided that she should go abroad to develop systems and give lectures in English, and so she did. Well, when she came home on the weekends she was so tired, she just couldn't stop speaking English. Most people thought that was weird (well yes, but keep in mind she was veeery tired), until she one day found someone (Markus) that just simply started speaking English as well. And from that day on they used English as their common language..."

Well, needless to say, when we started having kids there was a need to switch back to Swedish again - so when we are with the kids we speak Swedish, but when we're just "us grown-ups" we still speak English.

And: Geocaching is a worldwide game, so having a blog that can be read by non-Swedes should only be positive, shouldn't it? ;-)
